A Universidade Católica do Salvador (Ucsal) está inscrevendo até o dia 15 de março para o inédito curso de pós-graduação lato sensu em cinema – expressão e análise. Destinado a graduados em qualquer área que atuem ou desejem trabalhar no campo do audiovisual, mas preferencialmente aos profissionais de comunicação social, artes e letras, a exemplo de professores, críticos, realizadores cinematográficos e outros interessados na sétima arte, a especialização tem carga total de 420 horas e está oferecendo 40 vagas para a turma inaugural. As inscrições, com taxa de R$20, devem ser efetivadas na Superintendência de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação, instalada no campus da instituição na Avenida Garibaldi. O valor do investimento pode ser parcelado em 18 mensalidades de R$320, com desconto de 10% para pagamento à vista. As aulas, previstas para iniciar no final de março, ocorrerão às sextas-feiras, das 18h40 às 22h10, e aos sábados, das 10h20 às 12h e das 13h30 às 17h, no mesmo campus. A seleção dos candidatos inscritos se dará através de análise curricular e, se necessário, entrevista. Na avaliação dos professores Roberto Duarte e Regina Gomes, coordenadores do curso, a especialização responde à crescente demanda – no país e, em especial, na Bahia – por produtos audiovisuais nos mais variados campos de atividades, como educação, turismo, publicidade, arte e entretenimento, a qual está exigindo formação acadêmica qualificada.
“Nossa proposta é colaborar na capacitação de profissionais para o exercício de um olhar crítico sobre a produção audiovisual, principalmente a regional e a baiana, em franca expansão”, reforça Roberto Duarte. O corpo docente da pós-graduação é composto de doutores e mestres de instituições de ensino da Bahia e outros estados. Entre as disciplinas da grade, destacam-se história do cinema mundial, história do cinema brasileiro e baiano, teorias do cinema, crítica cinematográfica, análise fílmica, estética da comunicação, cinema documentário, economia da cultura e o cinema brasileiro e metodologia da pesquisa.
